Even though it’s sort of ridiculous to act like it’s impossible to find anyone to do it, I think it’d be lovely if they eschewed hosts altogether. Maybe the ceremony would be shorter. 

It’s helpful that it’s no longer in NYC, so there’s more variety of backgrounds and needs and lifestyles. They meet them where they are, and there’s less of that “let’s turn everyone metrosexual!” vibe of the original.

Yeah, I was thinking about how they’re essentially the first “big” awards of the year that include TV. Fingers crossed!

Maslany was in a Canadian sci-fi show, though. I understood why that took a while. Plus she was a lead, and Carden would submit in Supporting.

But the Emmys come MUCH earlier. (Plus she’s got more of a shot there, since the Globes are not only dumb but also put mini-series, TV movie, and regular series all into one 5-person category for Supporting, while the Emmys separate them.)

There’s definitely something to that, as well as the fact that there was no Medium Place vacuum chute (or whatever the hell those cool things that used to be at bank drive-throughs are called). She didn’t just “happen” to qualify for a place that has no communications system.

Yes, this was my only question. This means that, say, Harriet Tubman is in the Bad Place, and therefore got fewer points than... Mindy.

Well, if anyone was still on the fence about whether Archie and Veronica are right for each other, this one cinches it. Both dumb as bricks, they’re perfectly matched. (Also the sex is apparently the best sex two children ever had)

I might be off on the age but I think anyone over 11 is supposed to be outraged about every episode of SNL

I only made it through 2 or 3 episodes, but this is a fair assessment.

Yeah, I always thought his Bad Place destiny was a real stretch, particularly when compared to those other 3.
