I remember being addicted to teh original GCN game. Every day I’d go in and play a little bit, and I couldn’t wait to go back to my town and play so more.

Then I started time traveling to get the things I wanted faster--and then I stopped caring.  The problem with cheating is that it completely ruins the point of AC.

Wait. I’ve played almost every AC throughout the years, and it’s just more fun playing at your own pace. Sure, others may be “ahead,” but if you weren’t so connected to everyone else, you wouldn’t think you were really missing out, you know?

I feel like it would suck out the chill.

I’ve got a lot of free time now and other games to play, it’s kind of nice to just put in 45 minutes or whatever in Animal Crossing and then set it aside for the next day while I do other things.

Six hours? Was the original that short? There’s no way, right?

Sweet Jesus, I can’t wait for RE3. Popping some zombo heads and dunking on Nemesis is just what the criminally overworked and underappreciated doctor ordered.

The testing won’t improve. Despite all that is known people still can’t get tested. Either tests aren’t available in some areas, or the CDC guidelines say they aren’t eligible to be tested.

If we were to tomorrow start following the South Korean model of test-and-quarantine, rinse-and-repeat, we’re looking at resuming something resembling post-COVID-19 economy by Summer.

“Had this been a regular purchase it wouldn’t have made ALL THE money.”

I’m used to this administration regularly baffling me and crying out “what the fuck?!” in confusion and anger, but seriously, what in the actual fuck? If this was sun-downing Trump describing why Baron is good at cyber I would get it, but is this lady’s brain turning to pudding just by proximity to Trump?

This is real disappointing. Knowing that it’s going to be only certain games takes the PS5 from a day 1 buy, to a year 2 or 3 buy.

I think it’s more of a ‘I’ve invested so much of my self-perception into this cult that I cannot back out now, my investment is too big to sell at a loss’ mechanism at work than true belief. Or at least I hope so.

I don’t know. I always got the idea that before anything else America seemed to push rabid individualism as it’s core ideal. And that fits that girls response to a T (the contempt for doing something that inconveniences her for a greater good). I mean the other “American Ideals” often seem framed off of that one. At

How critical does it seem like the crafting is in this game? I’ve sunk a lot of time into previous Animal Crossing games since I love the relaxed nature but I find most crafting systems in games to be overwhelmingly tedious. I’ve been trying to figure out if its ignorable or not before I decide if I want to get a copy.

60 dollar appetizer sounds about right.....

Do I want to play this game? From everything it sounds, hell yes. Nostalgic beats w/ modern gameplay

but asking the fans most likely to pay 60 bucks for 1/20th of a game is just a big no no, especially when you consider that the most likely fanbase to play this knows just how
