My little cousin mentioned Avan Jogia once and now he's all I can see as Aladdin. Should be the right age, too.

Thankless, CGI supporting roles or bust, you mean.

It's because the original animated movie already fcked that part up with the names and architectures being a mishmash of what Disney considered 'general brown people culture'. You even get Taj Mahal-looking building in there.

I mean, granted I only know of him because of younger cousins but even if they don't wanna go Bollywood, Avan Jogia exists…

So, sounding like Sorkin, then.

It's not startling. He probably have seen male privilege at work countless of times but he's benefiting from it so who cares about correcting it? Not him.

Yep. And people will give him woke cookies about doing the bare minimum like they're doing here, too

He's not going to, but hey I guess he clears that very low threshold of not being a dick about it

Lol I'm not buying this. At the very least he's bring willfully ignorant because it's issues that has nothing to do with his white dick. He already was criticized before for The West Wing being whitebread city and somehow between then and today he's managed to unlearn the issue? What a talented guy indeed.

This is legitimately concerning indeed. I spoke with a friend that babysits around her neighborhood and the parents don't know anything about what their children are consuming. They think since they're just watching video games on their tabs/phones and being quiet everything's fine, but the kids just blindly watch all

It's easy for adults (with functioning brains) but teens click around mindlessly and before you know it they're redpillers

Right, so proud of my sister.

Please, he's a partner there, his rich white derriere is going to be fine.

Is it really postmodern when Drama CDs are still a (some even glorious) thing?

Just wait a few years, you'll be more welcoming of such themes.

Yeah it's like judging Western films only by watching soap operas.

But where I grew up 'a guy that looks like he could kick ass' looks like Bruce Lee, so I don't see the problem.

Yup. That's me. Gimme Fielding/Ayoade being weird and Mitchell next to an upbeat pop star looking uncomfortable and (and okay, Whitehall, but only when he's self depreciating) and I'll watch with no complaints.

But the weirdest thing is it's fake, or at least exaggerated, because I think it's Carol Vorderman who said- why do you laugh like that, you don't used to laugh like that.

Jimmy 'I only hit the lowest hanging joke-fruit' Carr is not any better in that department. I endured his segments in 10 O'Clock Live just so I could watch David Mitchell and Charlie Brooker and in any topic they mention you could bet that he'd go for the most obvious, bottom-of-the-barrel ones.
