the bigger problem is the fact that women the the massive majority of the attacked. this doesn't lessen the experiences of the men or genderqueer peoples this happens to- it DOES provide a statistic that shows how chronically objectified women are when compared to other genders.

I don't know much about Reddit, but the more I read the more convinced I become that is just a murky cesspool of weird, stunted dudes attempting to act on their most destructive urges under some sense of protection. The fact that there's so many if them and that they band together so quickly is sort of... Distressing?…

Remember that Boob Song that Seth MacFarlane sang at the Oscars that everyone thought was just so funny and Jennifer Lawrence gave a victory fist pump that nobody saw her boobs yet? Yeah, this is way we didn't think that shit was funny.
