I lived in New Zealand for 7 years and never saw a single weta since they only occur in certain parts of the country. As a non-American, I’m not really scared of bears, but I AM scared of rattle snakes! It’s the number one reason why the warmer parts of the US terrify me! Also, cockroaches and bedbugs - we do have them here in Germany, but they aren’t nearly as widespread as they seem to be in the US. Shudder.

The difference is that most Turkish people sadly still support, even worship, Erdogan after years of doing horrible shit. Same cannot be said about most Americans and Trump anymore - his approval ratings are super low, after all.

I tried to watch Girls after Jezebel hyped it up so much and it just made me feel incredibly old - these people were all horrible, entitled assholes who were behaving like teenagers while actually in their mid 20s. I didn’t find it relatable or funny at all, just tiring.
Then why even ask?
It sucked so HARD, I think I gave up after the first 3 episodes.
