Huh-boy you triggered the poor fragile menfolks with that comment - the greys are exploding right now with “notallmen” goodness!

Wow...you just send me down a rabbit hole there...
It was so predictable that the comments would turn into a fat shaming, rape apologist nightmare regarding the Rebel Wilson article. So. Damn. Predictable.
Yep, that one was beyond gross - but I’m also 100% over the dozens of “I am so WORRIED this will turn into a WITCH HUNT!!! Will no one think of the innocent menz and their fee-fees? How can we survive without that last season of House of Cards/that 100th male superhero movie???” comments on pretty much every sexual…
I’m re-watching Crazy Ex Girlfriend - it’s so, so good and just continues to get better!!!
I’m just glad that this is published on Jezebel and not the AV Club - the comment section there is almost worse than Gizmodo by now, and that’s saying something.
I don’t think I could cope - it would be like finding out that Obama molested someone. *cries
Yes, please - that comment section is unbearable, shudder.
“Ok, Tom Hanks, I’m ready to hear about your Cambodian brothel frolics!”
Quite interesting, but probably won’t become really mainstream here. People are already throwing hissy fits over things like “Lehrer/Innen” or making a distinction between “trans” and “cis” because apparently trying to be more inclusive when it comes to gender means being a crazy feminazi who is trying to destroy the…
Good question, and I’m not 100% sure about this. The 3rd gender will be referred to as “divers” or “inter” (so “diverse” or “in-between”), and it was an intersex person who went to court over this, so it seems to mostly be for people who are biologically neither strictly male nor female.
We have female, male and neuter. But neuter would be really rude to use for a person, so that one is probably out of the question - it’s like calling someone “it”, basically. There are ways around this though, e.g. the equivalent to the often-used “they”/3rd person plural in English, which would be “sie.”
My guess is his wife just left him because he’s clearly a self-involved ass and now he is trolling comment sections of year-old relationship articles because he hates women. What a dick.
You sound like an asshole. Why are you trolling the comment section of an article that is over a year old? Did your “pretty but not totally my type” wife leave you or something? Byeeeeeeee, dismissing from now on.
Always thought he was an asshole, even when people here were still calling him hilarious for saying certain foods are shit and cussing out people for liking avocados or bacon or whatever else he personally disliked. There is a tendency here at Jez to idolise and coddle certain male commenters that has always made me…
The “driving through a crowd” style terrorist attacks are usually very meticulously planned to ensure maximum damage, so they go for large crowds, not a normal walkway on an average day. If they had, say, targeted Times Square during New Year’s, that would be much more their style. Here in Europe, this type of attack…
I know, I’m kinda “huh???” as well - very bizarre, but really, I’m 100% sure it was just a weird accident/someone was sleeping on the job.
This can ONLY have happened by accident, trust me! Especially during the 90s, there is NO way someone would have consciously made such a choice!
I’m not sure either. What is your point here precisely? Who would want to “honour” perpetrators? Why do you need a train to “honour” the victims when trains were used to deliver them to their death (and many died on the journey already because it was hellish)? We have museums, statues, plaques, memorials and memorial…
Calling a train in Germany after Anne Frank won’t make someone riding the train “research the horror of Auschwitz and the Nazi regime” because, um, learning about this stuff is mandatory in German schools and we all know about it here. Most German pupils read Anne Frank’s diary at school at a young age, and of course…
