I am in full agreement. It helped to stop taking in political news about a week and a half ago. No print, online, tv or otherwise. 45 actually triggers a feeling of dread for me which I only identified after abstinence of the news. Its hard to do but it helped a great deal.

Yes, but you have to realize that those are the people of today, post migrations of 5,000 years or so. Intermingling with traders, etc. Back then the tribes would have been much more separated and isolated. Even the people that populated the British Isles were darker than they are now.

No the romans were not “white”at least by non-modern standards. Italians and the Irish have only been “white” for less than a century.
