We haven't been told that Hive itself is actually immortal as opposed to it being able to get out of most hosts quickly enough before he goes the way of the body.

There are no named 'Asian' characters that are 'good' that I can remember that we meet…and that does not actually challenge my point. The antagonists here are a clan of demonic worshiping Ninjas - the claim being made is that this story line depicts some form of "Yellow Peril" trope. The whole "demon worshiping" part…
First off, its made VERY clear in the show that what Stick does kills Nobu. Its hard to discuss a show with people who are ignoring or missing key and obvious plot points.
As opposed to empty industrial warehouses?
There is no "master-mind." Nobu is no such thing. Nobu was just one of the various now immortal evil Ninjas who are worshiping the demonic force. The way Nobu is so unceremoniously finally killed while the Hand obviously continues shows he is certainly not its "mastermind".
Simmons has no problem opening up a man's brain - she isn't scared of blood. Fitz would vomit, but Simmons? Nope.
That was more of an accident, and she has very little screen time in the movie, from all that is told.
I don't accept for a second that having a clan of demon worshiping Ninjas in any way, shape, or form constitutes the "Yellow Peril" trope. Ninjas are NOT in any way representative of any specific "Oriental" traits. Are they 'foreign' to whatever construct of "the West" (a construct as artificial as "The Orient")?…
I assume the point of buying the town is to have the space to conduct the necessary gruesome human experimentation in relative 'peace.'
He is bullet proof but certainly not flamethrower or Murder Vest proof. And he can only jump into corpses of regular humans, and if they are badly mangled corpses, well, not the best of hosts.
The Hand are obviously Japanese. Elektra isn't Japanese, but she is visibly clearly part Asian at least.
Madame Gao (whose actual background in unclear since we know from season 1 she isn't just an old Chinese lady) does seem more stereo-typically Pan-Asian, but then in this story she also ins't being antagonistic.
"Yellow peril" stuff wasn't about a bunch of demonically driven Assassins. That was never a trope. Every single grocer and worker was part of the "peril." If you want to see "Yellow Peril" stuff from recently, look at "Rising Sun" or other early 90's stuff about the 'panic' of the Japanese taking over.
So what is an "Asian" name?
I have to say that one aspect of this review (and previous ones) really bugs me, and it is this insistence that the Hand represent a bunch of "Asian" tropes. The Hand depict a bunch of JAPANESE tropes, not ASIAN. Ninjas are not a part of the culture of any country in Asia other than Japan. I find it hard to feel…
The Hand are a classic Daredevil antagonists,so they were bound to come up. They are "Asian" (specifically Japanese) because it got started in Japan, but 'evil people trying to take over the world' are not an "Asian" stereotype.
She isn't Green in the show - they lay out that she was adopted by Greek diplomats.
Penelope did have problems with it, though. Not that it did any of those guys any good.
What?
You currently have Coulson trying to save Daisy much in the same way, it seems, as Steve Rogers is trying to save his friend Bucky in CA:CW. So, this show and that movie share so many themes. How could one not talk about both of them together?
