Well, in the show we have Hydra trying to get an ancient evil being to recover and help them take over the world. I am sure any of us intrepid commentators can come up with a scenario of how that leads to a quinjet in space about to explode if we gave ourselves a minute.

Given that neither FItz nor Simmons is the main protagonist of the show, the possible consequences seem less severe.

Newly created character, and my guess is the replacement for Hellfire in the comic (Daisy's dark love interest)

Impact might still hurt, but penetration is unlikely - the mass of a bullet isn't that high, so spreading it out and making it liquid form will really diminish the lethality.

No idea - given this is an original character, lets see what the writers come up with. I hope they don't forget he is (metal) bullet proof.

Well, we know the necklace is Elena's, we know someone was injured, someone was still in the craft by the time it blew up in Space, and people have pointed out that if you pause it, you can make out the fact its a quinjet.

I loved the way they developed Elena's character, and I liked that she smiled each time she disarmed a cop. They did pretty well showing her powers. As for the heartbeat statement, 60 beats a minute (or once a second) is pretty normal, and about a second of action is close to what we saw in the scene where she kidnaps

The notion that Inhuman powers aren't random is Comic canon.

Not only don't we have any clue how many people have actually watched those shows, since Netflix doesn't provide viewership data of any use, but those shows are aimed at a wide audience by avoiding most superhero elements like showing superpowers.

Yes, the effects are so awful they keep getting nominated for an Emmy in Visual Effects…….

I can just see the headlines now:

That Feige cares about Agent Carter means nothing with regards to him having the pull with the higher ups at Disney to have them tell people at a different division to keep a product those folks might not want to keep in terms of profitability, which is essentially your claim. What "war" could Feige declare , huh? A

Being head of Marvel Studios (which is not in charge of production of Agent Carter) doesn't give Feige any greater pull on the TV side. Disney was willing to give him more independence on the movie side because he had been showing results (making money). On the other hand, ABC just had a leadership change, and if this

Feige isn't the head of Marvel - he is the head of the Marvel Studios, which does the movies, and got that only because he appealed to Disney to give him independence from CEO Ike Perlmutter. The TV shows are still under Perlmutter and the division is run by Jeph Loeb, with ABC studios in charge of production.

Almost every show on today save the Big Bang Theory would have been cancelled 10 or 15 years ago. Agents of SHIELD is averaging 2.3 this year once you account for the Live + 7 and is about 500,000 to 700,000 viewers down. At that level, it would still fall in the top 50 in the demo had it been last year, and there

Sorry, but I fail to understand this claim: when I see a trailer for Capt. America: Civil War or Daredevil season 2 there is absolutely nothing about AOS in either. And seeing Capt. America is as likely to remind someone of Peggy Carter as it is to remind them or Phil Coulson or SHIELD.

Please. Agents of SHIELD has ratings that are basically the same as The Flash (Flash has slightly higher live ratings but ends up with lower ratings in the live +7), and higher ratings than Arrow.

I am surprised that no one pointed out the "obvious" speculation that the shooter was Michael Carter, getting back the file on himself that proves he wasn't killed in 1942 and that he was up to some bad things.

40% to 50% lower ratings in the sought after 18-49 demographic and more than a million livers viewers less is a significant difference.

That this show has decided not to really connect in any way to the rest of the MCU doesn't actually challenge the relative weakness of the story it tells.
