I have fallen in love with many a gay man, and been both a knowing and unknowing beard. It is a side effect of having a weakness for campy men (sometimes with a tendency toward genderbending). But as far back as high school, I always felt “because I’m gay” was the least painful possible reason for someone to not love

No, but, it makes you racist for asking.

Not to be that person, but most of the definitions people have provided you for neo-liberal are wrong. Neo-liberalism is a resurgence of laissez-fair economics, or a belief that the free market solves all. When someone is called a Neoliberal, you can bet that they are spouting off talking points that would make Regan

Pussy up, nutsack. Shit’s about to get real.

One surly, paranoid asshole coming up.

Completely agree. I live on “vacation” in Sarasota, FL. Our little brown signs on everything proudly claim #1 Beach in the USA, which very well may be true, but it is also the worst beach in the USA for the same reason it is also #1. White. Quartz. Sand. The sand on Siesta key is colloquially referred to as “sugar

AVGN was a lot of fun back in the day and I just sort of... forgot about it at some point. I think it may have been the gap between videos or whatever gaming site I used to peruse stopped linking to him. Whatever it was, I loved his videos and they just faded out of my life at some point.

OH FFS.

These are the people who have control over these children’s grades, while blatantly saying “I hope he fails.” That is more than blowing off steam. That is a teacher I wouldn’t trust to educate and fairly grade my child.

I did NOT realize this! Done and done. Ah-may-zing.

I suppose they don’t call him Norman READ-us for nothing. The library is OPEN, HUNTIES.

>”Plus, I doubt that Clinton would have made the ACA happen. ”

In 2008, her healthcare plan was more liberal than Obama’s, without going so far as to be single-payer. In fact it was one of the few actual policy differences they had on the campaign trail. So yeah she wouldn’t have passed the ACA, she probably would have gone further towards universal healthcare coverage.

I disagree about Clinton probably not making the ACA happen. She was one of the original creators of what became the ACA, but it got heavily changed through the administrations and the need to get certain Repubs and health insurance companies on board.

I am perfectly ok with voting for Hilary. I just hope she is able to recognize that votes of necessity are not the same as votes of support/trust, and she will have to win people over during her presidency.

The most interesting thing to me, though, is the fact that 28.6 percent of Sanders donors are not in the workforce, whether unemployed, disabled, or retired.
