I feel attacked :(

Yeah, as a high-functioning autistic person I know I’m not what people are trying to avoid, but knowing that some people would rather risk horrible and deadly diseases than have an autistic child definitely fucks with my head at times.

Yeah, he was struck off (had his license to practise medicine revoked by the UK medical council). He’s now an anti-vax activist.

To be a pedant, you shouldn’t *think* he’s wrong, we *know* he’s wrong. The only peer reviewed study that linked vaccines and autism has been confirmed as fraudulent and no other work has found any link.

(having now seen the trailer, this does not seem like a sensitive, non-caricature portrayal of autism)

This is where I’m at as an autistic person. I completely get the argument with race-washing, and casting cis people in trans roles, but with autism I just don’t understand it. As long as it’s sensitive towards the people it’s portraying, and those people are consulted rather than just being a caricature, I have no

I got bored of my Xbox One, but there were enough exclusives on the PS4 that I wanted to play that I almost bought one during lockdown. Not having any PS5 exclusives on launch day doesn’t bother me when there’s a decent library of games for very cheap that will keep me going until the big next gen games arrive.

Just to add one more “Just get a Switch” response. Cheaper, option for handheld and therefore good for travel, and the major releases tend to be more family friendly. See how he goes with the switch and what sort of games he’s into and then make a decision when there’s more clarity on what this new generation of

This isn’t an actual Lincoln Project video.

When the selling point of a comedy special is ‘loads of celebrity cameos’ you just know its gonna be good.

Impressions is generous.

Nippy is the only one who seems to understand that he was complicit in some very bad things.

I watched it after it had finished being aware of all the hate for the ending and assuming that it would end with them being dead all along. The ending was actually a really nice surprise, and without the time to theorise and ultimately be dissapointed between episodes and seasons, I loved it.

That is not a fantastic edit, and there is still the problem with every other scene being bad.

It’s not really time travel though, not in the classic sense. The way it works is relatively straightforward. The issues aren’t with the concepts, they’re in the general coherence of the film. As Dowd says, there’s plenty of exposition which is difficult to hear due to the sound mix, and the final section has colour

But Nolan has a history of making films that people find confusing that aren’t actually that confusing, and now he’s made one which is pretty incoherent at times and people are acting as though it’s all part of the experience.

Completely agree. I get the temptation to make things bigger and bigger, but the final stretch of the film there is too much going on. I don’t even think it’s confusing because it’s over-complicated, I just don’t think it’s executed in coherent way.

Fair point, anyone not established is probably more fair.

Inception is about something though, thematically and literally. Tenet is about stopping something “worse than world war 3" that is never fully explained in a satisfying way and mainly seems to exist because Nolan thought having things moving forwards and backwards through time interacting with each other would look

I love Nolan, but this is just a mess. I had no idea what was happening in the final section of the film. There’s no way it would be getting so many “just sit back and enjoy it” good reviews if it was anyone but Nolan.
