On the one hand: the production is good, they all sound great, it’s nice to hear new stuff.
If you actually bothered to read the article you’d see that HBO told her she had free rein to make her version of the show when they approached her to direct S2. But sure, just blame a woman for not knowing “her role”.
Why not just post that in the correct episode discussion instead of barely hiding spoilers?

Was anyone else expecting a Planet of the Apes ending as it zoomed out from the ship at the end? For a second I was convinced that the red waste of Mars would actually be post-nuclear Earth and that Jerry was both right and wrong.
That sounds, quite honestly, awful. American cinema habits are weird.
Either that or pay for a hair transplant, or even better hats - the cap look is awful.

I first heard Half a World Away by REM on Scrubs.
I went to see it based on the fact I had a day to kill and like Michael Pitt, and I was entertained. It’s not amazing, but I think it’s limitations are softened if you’re the right audience for it.
