So there is one notable exception to this rule, the Ford Crown Vic. One of very few cars (I don’t know of any others) that has the amber daytime running lights between the headlights and the grill. Always made spotting cops easy.

So this is a late entry question, and forgive my knowledge about trucks, but wouldn’t a bed liner make this argument irrelevant?
