Exit Planet Dust is one of my desert island discs…without question. I'm pumped for this new one. I did like the A.V. Club's sly nod to the fact that they aren't "over" anymore in America…but they are always welcome in Calgary, Canada.

What about Mega Bloks used to recreate Asylum mockbusters?

I read most of them as a kid…then revisited them as an adult…I deeply regret reading The First Four Years.

You know what I found on Scribd that just tickled me pink? 1000 page Archie digests!! It's a good service-I just read everything I wanted to that was available-and stuff that wasn't available on Marvel Unlimited.

Are you done the LHotP books yet? We need to talk.

Good point CMS. You win this round. But I'll be back!

Well, I didn't want to get into a debate over what I thought was a fairly innocuous comment but here goes:
I don't pay for YouTube-and while it's a streaming service (even though I had never thought of it that way)-I consider it to be on a far different level than Spotify, Pandora (which I can't access-I'm Canadian)

You know what I mean.

No it's more of a drunken jukebox thing-like oh I remember Eurodance, or 2 Unlimited or Semisonic, etc, etc. Nostalgia mostly.

i hate streaming music. If i want to listen to something that I don't have I'll get drunk and fire up YouTube. Plus i get lots of CDs from the library regularly.

Mine's good too-we get first run Blu-Rays regularly and I'm always checking out 10-12 new CDs a week just because they look interesting. For 12 bucks a year-our library is my best investment. Plus we are linked with Hoopla and Freegal.

Excellent book-much better then his dad's books lately. It did have the "old-school" King feel, while having its own voice.

Locke and Key was one of the best comic series I've read in a long, long time. Here is some advice…
Get the app Scribd-it's like netflix for books-you get the first month free and it has all the L&K trade paperbacks (along with a shit ton of other stuff-pretty much all of IDW's back catalogue)

The Terror is probably Dan Simmons' best IMHO. He's pretty uneven at times. I should check out that newish? one of his about the Yeti.

I'm with ya-Had to return "The Bone Clocks" because it was costing me real cash.

try Carter beats the Devil by Glen David Gold as well.

The awesome thing about your response is that you knew I'd know who you were talking about-I adored her in 10,000 Maniacs and owned Tigerlily

I've been on a Biography kick lately. In no particular order:
Song of Spider-Man (the behind the scenes story of SM: Turn off the Dark)
The Best in the World…at what I have no Idea! (Wrestler Chris Jericho's third biography)
Beaten, Seared and Sauced (A bio about a guy's 2 years at the Culinary Institute of America)
Just

I'll give you that about Outkast…but Idris was great…Luther (the show)
was not.
