This is just stupid.

Here is one area that Apple is spot on...don't say anything until you place the product out there for sale.

For all of the bitching about the perceived build quality of the SII and SIII, nobody has bothered to mention the fact that the plastic/polycarbonate bodies on smartphones actually absorb shocks better than a hard aluminum body (which transfers all of that shock to the screen with the expected results).

Are you serious? Android users can't update the underlying OS with patches when they come out?

..if an Android device that isn't fully patched visits one of these sites...

This kind of thing has been reported on the web and in the news media for at least 2 years.

Isn't it time we started holding the officials responsible for making these decisions fiscally responsible for the fallout from their decisions?
