There may or may not be a tax penalty for marriage, but there certainly is an interest penalty for early withdrawal.

Nice old 911!

It depends on what the meaning of “is” is. :)

And, once again, 60 Minutes is on hand to tell you of Audi’s Unintended Acceleration problems.

For the same reason that I have two Audis: I can be pretty sure that one of them is working at any time.

You should not remove the transaxle cooler to do a clutch on a 951. That said, it is quite a bit more exasperating that a 944, just due to the seized fasteners on the exhaust system.

I saw that, said, that looks like a 944... I have to say (as a 944 dismantler for 20+ years) that the pin for the clutch fork is a lot easier to remove if you drop the entire driveline and divide it into pieces on the floor of the garage. Kind of like the reverse of the way that Porsche put it together.

Too much rear brake bias.

EZ-Pass (you could google it) for those of us who are doomed to pay to drive on highways. Not only does it mean that you don’t have to stop and roll down your driver window to pay the toll, it also means that you can continue at your speed while you roll through and the other poor schmucks without the EZ-Pass get to

Emergency shutoff switch.

Yeah, but did that $120K meet the reserve???

Yeah, but all three of you were hipsters!

Excellent...even pegged the speedo!

The West Side Highway.

When you get a check from Roger Penske, remember to cash it, and then you can frame a copy!

Sorry, the 944S2 block was cast aluminum, never forged aluminum. It may have been lighter by 15 percent over the 944S (2.5 liter, 16 valve motor), but still heavier than the 944 (2.5 liter, 8 valve) motor.

While the Saab (900 series) may have a logical startup sequence, I have my own tale of woe to tell about the 900 I once owned...

I have neither dish nor cable, so I will be watching it on BBS via expat shield...

Been to Rome, seen the traffic. There are no traffic laws, only suggestions. Makes Boston drivers look patient, law-abiding, and passive.

A 944 clutch job is easy compared to a 944 turbo... shop estimates for a 944 is 8 to 10 hours, for a 944 turbo is 16 to 20 hours, if you don't break a bolt.
