Yes.
They are slow to kill plays because replay has made it easy to fix things if they just let them play out. Once you kill it it is over and then the whole world complains because you called it dead and you can’t award a fumble later. If there is a scrum and his progress is even slightly forward, there is a good chance…
There’s no such thing as play to the whistle. You’ll find that in some cases, many officials in the college or pro level don’t blow a whistle and let the play kill itself.
They called an illegal formation, not an ineligible lineman downfield or illegal touching. Does Deadspin have a screenshot of the formation?
They don’t have to. That used to be the case when the home team supplied the comm infrastructure. But now the NFL handles it.
Is there a reason you onmitted the proposition from the post?
While that makes some sense... I’m not sure how many people would take a large envelope of cash to a bank after a transaction like that.
That’s a big difference... public v. private charter.
The kid that got hit has all the calm. I don’t know if I can name a single person on my high school or college team that would react that way if that happened.
This. Also... maybe they don’t want to name them because they are minors?
Can we be neighbors?
That’s a good rule. Is that unwritten, i.e. slowly forged over time or agreed upon?
Actually... it’s quite the opposite. The less you can afford to replace things the more you learn the inner workings to make it run a long time or to get all the functionality out of it.
That struck me too. In fact, that's the most un-outlandish thing I saw. Paying that much rent in Dublin, Ohio is the biggest red flag I saw.
He was at a Braves game... That ship sailed.
While you can certainly accuse Boise State of withholding info, that doesn’t excuse Baylor’s absolute negligence in its’ own investigation.
Just curious and certainly have no notion of right or wrong here... but what is the Gawker/Deadspin motivation for not blurring out this guy’s phone number?
Only if worn as an outer garment.
