This. Like I said in a previous thread, I don’t think there is anyway he gets suspended if they call the charging penalty. I think that 99% of hockey fans (including Detroit fans) agree that the hit is illegal but to suspend a player? Much less, game seven of the playoffs?

I agree that if he got penalized, then he wouldn’t be suspended. I wonder if there are other examples of this where the person was penalized and then not suspended... much less in game seven of the playoffs.

I was thinking about this the other day. Every sport is finding ways to use more and more officials to cover the playing field/court/ice/etc... Professional leagues are using more and more officials every year to create a better product. Hell, Texas HS Football is moving to 7 officials in Houston.
