Yes, there is a reason. It’s that other car makers distribute their sales over many, many more models than Tesla does. Even among BEVs.

The one automaker which (to my knowledge) has never had a safety-related recall.

No one on Jalopnik has mentioned Vinfast because Jalopnik readers know a bit about cars.

It has to be the Saturn Ion. This thing was trash, even by mid 00's standards.

How about a six-wheel, stretch Olds Toronado?

Hell yeah! As a kid I was constantly in airports due to my fathers and grandfathers work and was obsessed with airport service vehicles and am old enough to remember some of these things.  Cleveland Power and Performance is resurrecting an old Jetway.

Will 100% cut your lip when you go to drink from it, crush your finger putting the top on, and disintegrate on contact with oat milk.

As an old geezer, this is what makes me hate Teslas (and any other car brand that goes the same route).

Wife just sent me this with “probably about the same build quality as a real one” https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/producers-pride-camper-tractor-chicken-coop-8-bird-capacity

If you’re using “Full Self Driving” in New York, you have already made a very bad decision. Just deciding to drive in New York is a bad idea. Park in Jersey and take the Path train in.

Between colony collapse over the last two decades and parasite/disease infections also reducing bee populations, not to mention invasive species, our native bee population has been more than decimated.

When they send us their bees, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending bees that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good bees.

I think the problem is that the demand for pollination exceeds the food supply available for the rest of the year. There’s a massive need for a short period of time for pollination to take place, but there isn’t a massive amount of native plants to support the required population for the remainder of the season.

This could have been way worse. Imagine if there was a kei truck there.  They are very dangerous.

Building an autonomous car is hard

Boring people will say to swap an LS in it or some crap, but the correct move here is to installed a twin-cam Lotus engine, a fiberglass front end with no headlight openings, a speedster-style windscreen, and Wobbly Web wheels with Avon slicks.

I was thinking this morning about search and how, as an... older gentleman... I might be one of the people this affects the least- I was using the internet before google, so I remember shitty search. I remember having to scroll past a page or 2 of garbage results to get what I actually needed, I remember the bad

Welcome to September 1993. Today is Monday, Sept 11220th 1993.

It’s pretty fun to watch these silicon valley “geniuses” that think they don’t need any help from seasoned experts in their fields and that they have somehow discovered some magic new way of doing things learn the hard way that they are not as smart as they think.

Mitsubishi has reinvented the MOLAB.
