It’s the same principle as “anything is air droppable once”

This is not Edd's first rodeo. When he was on Wheeler Dealers they did up a nicer Dino 308 GT4. Also where's Paul?

First world problem, or a skill issue, I used to walk from Grand Central Station to 57th and 5th every day during the brief time I commuted to a job in NYC. I’ll grant it’s a bit weird that he has to enter the zone for one block but that’s going to happen. Maybe he could buy a bicycle, I’m sure he could afford a

I see 2025 as a year of picking up neglected projects. I rang in the new year by finally replacing the tires on my truck. Next up will be registering the CM250C after decades i. the garage and doing a full service on both.  Then we can plan the grand project,  replacing the Mazda CX-5 with something more interesting.

Are you in Oregon? We have no safety inspections and only the Portland and Medford areas have emissions testing.

It would be more surprising if a sober person tried to steal a Waymo. Drunk people do stupid stuff all the time

ND, as nice as it a 30 year old Jeep with a time bomb transmission is $7500  max. Now a holy grail 4.0 5 speed may be worth it.

Carbon fiber fails catastrophically, metal fails gracefully. Where a magnesium or aluminum wheel will crack or bend, a carbon fiber wheel will explode.  This is why the UCI allows carbon rims, but not carbon spokes in massed start races.

Jeremy Clarkson said it nicely: “Owning a TVR in the past was like owning a bear, great until it pulled your head off, which it would

2nd Gear: Mazda deserves to win, they make some of the best crossovers, and the profits subsidize the Miata. This won't stop my plan to sell my CX-5,  to buy a more interesting Mazda

I'm slightly surprised this happened in California and not Florida, but then again California has a long history of wackiness

I always thought of the Fairlady as a Japanese TR4. I  also grew with them being rusty. A neighbor had a rusty 2000 roster in the early 70s, a block away from a new 240Z. I didn't one without rust until I visited California.

Rust and galvanic corrosion are the big problem with Discoverys so being a West Coast car helps. Being a 99 with questionable aesthetics doesn’t help. The 2003-2004 face-lift with 4.6 is better. Still an NP, as long as the interior is OK since all the usual bugs shouldbe worked out. Of course I would immediately apply

All I can think of is The Pretenders “I went back to Ohio”

I’m not surprised, although a bus is usually the slowest. Years ago there was a similar test done in Manhattan with subway, bus and cab. Unsurprisingly the train won, cab second, bus last. As far as I recall neither a bike nor motorcycle was tested.

I wonder how this would affect Geotechnical work since some testing uses a radiation source

I'd prefer a 3800, since those are nigh unkillable. We have a 2003 Buick LeSabre with over 200,000 on it that literally outlived its first two owners and has survived two college students. Considering what we paid in 2017 this a bit high but reluctant NP

PBOT is terrible,  even by the standard of incompetence of Oregon government agencies.  Bike Portland is full of stories about terrible road designs and failure to address bad spots

We had a 2014 Mazda5 and loved it as a relentlessly efficient TARDIS of a car. If you need six seats in a small package the only real answers are buy the best 2014-15 Mazda5 you can find or a Transit Connect. Otherwise a Honda Fit is a sensible choice. I would avoid the Kia Soul, the older ones were a meh driving

Yeah I blame auto correct, and yes air travel is all about the security theater and flight attendants should be concerned with more important things
