To keep platforms cool would require isolating them from the tracks. A platform edge door system would do that, as well aas eliminating death and injury from being pushed onto the tracks or falling. . A wrap is more easily removed than a paint job, but you will still need to budget for a crime scene cleaner to sanitize the vehicle, body shop to return to stock and repair damage and a full service.  It may be better to buy a Continental owned by a trophy wife than a rapper
