Knowing New York city gun laws, the guy with the gun was a bad guy with a gun who was being stupider than average. Despite  Bruen, getting a license for a gun in NYC is still only slightly less difficult than Hawaii.

Proof that the police and the DA have utterly failed in their mission. Make a mean tweet about Justin Trudeau, they send SWAT, some dude breaks into your house to steal your car, they shrug.

I was aware of the Telstar but confused it with its little brother the Ford Laser, available in the US as the Mercury Tracer. This was Mazda 323 based and initially very close the Mazda but later evolved into a Mercury badged US Escort.

This leaves the question,  did Angela Chao ever read the manual and know about the manual release and console shift? Or were psychoactive substances involved?

Lifted diesel trucks. While I have been spared the Ram Cummins serenade the past couple of weeks I’m still salty about the kid across the street revving and rumbling at all hours. Plus they tailgate and drive 20mph over the speed limit.  Oddly  farmers driving stock diesel trucks just drive without idiocy

Off-hand, does either model have a geared hub or just single speed? Also how good is the fender coverage and is it a standard seatpost? Also tire size and type, swapping out for different is important.

Belt drives don't need lube, and don't stretch.  Also no chain drop. On the other hand you need an internal geared hub, and a provision in the frame for removing the belt. Belts have two niches, city bikes and tandems (for the timing drive)

The touchscreen shifter is an ergonomic disaster surpassing the equally brain dead touch sensitive shifter that killed Anton Yelchin. A gearshift should be a physical control that moves. While we're at it interior door handles should be physical and mechanical and blindingly obvious.

This is a great example of an immature organization trying to build an autocratic Ceo’s back of an envelope sketch and failing. It’s like the automotive equivalent of the artificial islands in Dubai that are turning into an ecological disaster or all the urban hellscape pipe dreams like The Line or Charlie Munger's

My father never had an Oldsmobile,  although my grandparents had a couple.  At this price and condition it's a worthy car worth fixing the rust on.

Citroën Berlingo, the South American car based pickups whose name I can't recall,  Mazda Bongo, it's a HiAce but with a cooler name

Setting a bead with fire is the spiritual successor of self-vulcanizing patches. I would try this,  but I doubt they made them small enough for a 700x23 bicycle tube.

I do remember,  but the Vigato nameplate is news to me. A Korean FWD Elan is still superior to an Australian FWD Capri.

1st gear: I’m not surprised and I’m glad I didn’t pay for any driver nannies. The backup camera is useful, paying attention takes care of the rest

My immediate answer is an E39 M5, peak BMW. After that, any number of cars were either very good,  or perfectly encapsulated an era. A Hummer H2 is objectively bad but instantly evokes George W Bush's second term.

Basic physics and the notoriously flimsy construction of the Neon made the outcome obvious. I’d like to see the results of hitting something tougher like a Mercedes 190 or a Smart Car. I am also terrified of what would happen to a Citroën AX.

You have just described the Tesla driver rating app used to gatekeep “Partial Self Driving”

Rich entitled arschloch throws tantrum and acts like 2 year old. It must be Tuesday. I  hope karma is visited upon "Ace Rogers"

The Chicken Tax should have been dead for 60 years but Detroit paid better bribes, sorry "campaign contributions"

Faster depreciation than a Maserati is nothing to be proud  of.
