I will miss the asymmetric lights and the gas cap in the seat cowl as the last vestiges of David Robb.  Personally I prefer my BMWs with boxer twins but the old F800GS was a good ride so the new F900GS should be better, if less unique looking ride

The original contractor for California High Speed Rail was the French rail system SNCF. After a couple of years of pork barrel and NIMBY BS they quit.

I remember all of these except the Elantra but wish the Focus and Monte Carlo were erased from history.

You should add a dishonorable mention for Berlin Brandenburg Airport which stood empty for 9 years after completion due to various screw ups.

Electric trucks use regenerative braking which serves the function of a Jake Brake but silently instead of so noisy it's banned in cities.  Brakes are still air because they work well in heavy weight applications and need compatibility with trailers.

You would think that the people who invented Feng Shui and geomancy would do a better job of picking building sites but I guess the skimming and bribes were too attractive

There’s something amusing about selling a car the size of a shoe like a shoe. Will Fiat be releasing a Supreme edition that will cost 50٪ more because it comes with Supreme branded license plate frames?

I give this NP, it’s more than I paid for my low mileage 2002 F150 but prices are up since 2020 and this is in nicer shape despite the mileage. The Super Cab short bed is a decent compromise of cargo space and cab space and easier to park than my 20' long Supe Cab with 8' box. 4x2 instead of 4x4 is also OK, you get a

Yeah, I have 2002 truck, the recommendation I’ve heard is torque the spark plugs to 20 ft-lbs and use Motorcraft parts. If one fails, use a solid insert kit. I ended up replacing the heads on my truck because 4 plugs had the crappy Dorman thread chaser kit, which uses the problematic 3V spark plug,  and blows out of

This is more like a winter RV, but grat for flexing on brodozers

I’m slightly surprised how many entries get 15 mpg. The laws of physics are clearly in play as everything is some combination of big, heavy, powerful, and unaerodynamic, except for the X6 which is ugly as sin and deserves to be launched into the sun

I think this is just the first corruption scandal in years,to be truthfully reported as corruption.  As with Japan's homicide statistics,  a few keystrokes make murders suicides and bribes accounting errors.

The FIA,and IOC were both run by literal Fascists, Max Mosley was the son of Sir Oswald Mosley and Juan Antonio Samaranch was a card carrying member of the Falange.

The Carnival Cruise people weren’t at the Malheur NWR, or the Zumwalt Prairie, or the Kiger Mustang herd management area, I'm good with that.

The Prius engine was the subject of a recent I Do Cars teardown so it was front of mind, especially given the "Toyotas run forever so I don't service it" mentality

Then you are "cruise people" and I wish you a pleasant voyage. Our vacations involve getting away from people and being in nature so the exact opposite of a ship full of people.

As long as you keep the oil topped up, yes. Run the newer engines low and it's an expensive 250,000 miles

You left out the folding key used on older BMW Motorcycles. The blade folds at 90 degrees to the head forming a low profile knob. Older /5 keys were just a knob and bulkier in your pocket.

True, it’s been 127 years since the Indiana State Legislature tried to define pi as 3.2.

The Blutec story is peak Sicilian
