Number one son has a 1999 Suburban that’s a semi daily driver. I’m not sure how “classic” it is but a 3/4 ton in basic Work Truck trim is pretty rare. Something I would seek out is an E46 BMW or a JDM FD RX-7.

This is typical Tesla, somebody yelled “move fast and break things” and details were overlooked. The physical issue is fixable with a longer NACS plug to clear the bodywork, the systems issue is pure stupid because every other current Tesla supports CCS so the code should be there
Man, East Palestine is the shit show that keeps on giving. Worse, there appears to have been no progress on rail safety to prevent another one.
I thoroughly agree. Plug in hybrids are much more successful as the one car since local driving is electric and long distance is efficient gas.
Yeah, the newest Airheads are over 25 years old. I was 25 when I bought mine but I haven't been to a rally in a decade. Maybe Mercedes Streeter's R60 will jump start a movement.
A police badge is a patent of nobility and a license to kill.
You’re still going be tight on range for that birdwatching trip to Summer Lake regardless of NACS compatibility because Lake County Oregon still has no public charging stations.
Cool, for some reason I thought the Lotus Carlton was a 2001, apparently I'm getting old and forgetful.
They are actually BMW specific Peashooter mufflers made by Epco. Unfortunately Epco appears to have gone sideways and Rocky Point Cycle where I bought them appears to have closed.
Nice, I can understand going from RS to S, the riding position is more comfortable. Mine is similar to yours but has Red Smoke paint, a blacked out windshield, and Norton Commando mufflers.
You too? which BMW do you have, mine is an R100S.
I resolve to thoroughly clean our cars and motorcycles. I also resolve to ride motorcycles more and check the valve clearances on the Airhead. I should also replace the LeSabre’s broken taillight. I’d like a project car or fun car but lack of $ and money will prevent that.
This sounds like some craziness with a fight where he was leaving, she jumped on the car and both handled it badly. FWIW Rohan Dennis has had some erratic moments in his pro career and a VW ute is probably an Amarok.
That sounds less smelly and crowded than those German camper busses that tour Africa. It's still too much "if it's Tuesday it must be Belgium" for my taste. I'd rather travel slowly. Years ago we toured part of England in a canal boat, which was great because we were part of the countryside and at some of the locks…
This is a great example of stupid people doing stupid things at stupid hours and why I never went to Times Square on NYE, and rarely went there at night in the 80s.
I’ll wait two more years for a Vauxhall Lotus Carlton, or buy a Peugeot 106 Rallye. Kei cars are risky in the US since several states, won't register them
OK, given what I know of late WWII Japan, sensible Kamikaze pilot was a very outside choice
Either a very bad Kamikaze pilot like the joke about (insert target nationality) Kamikaze who safely returned from 7 missions, or the war ended before his first mission.
I have more vehicles than the average Jalopnik writer. A crossover, a sedan, and a pickup, plus two motorcycles, all operational. Then we have 7 bicycles an two kayaks.
This seems like a variation of Rule 34. “if people can bonk in it they will bonk in it”
