That’s a much more fun way of taking out the trash than wheeling a bin to the curb.

The Boring Company and the Hyperloop are most accurately seen as a boondoggle to kneecap rail projects, “grab eyeballs” and launder money. I think Elon even admitted that stopping rail projects was an intended result, because of course he ran at the mouth.

It seems like a portable version of the caissons used for bridge piers and other sea bottom excavations. It's cool but probably restricted to shallow water.

This seems like a money pit. For $5000 I could see it as rolling chassis worth either an engine rebuild or reversible LS swap and new upholstery.

The Peugeot 106 Rallye has been eligible for at least a year but I have no money.

It depends on what you’re shopping for and whether you go through a dealer or DIY. We were spitballing Toyota Century and Nissan Stagea imports and a Century or lesser Stagea or Cedric is $3-5000 at auction, and about $2000 for Ro-Ro shipping to the West Coast. Even an RWD Skyline is reasonable compared to a GTR or FD

Are car dealers a special sort of crazy or is this just typical rich guy behavior to assassinate blackmailed. Of course the whole get it on with an escort was foundational stupidity compounded by hiring hit men.

I had to laugh at that. FWIW Austin continued in the UK until 1989 and the last Austin cars were made in the early 90s

My day has been so weird calling a 9 speed Satanic seemed perfectly normal.

I am pleasantly surprised considering the legal history of houses destroyed by SWAT.

The SVX and the earlier XT led me to describe Subaru as Japan's Citroën.  Sadly Subarus are much less interesting these days.  NP anyway

Delaware and Rhode Island also get the same number of Senators.  That's not a bug that's a feature.

That’s an interesting observation considering how many heavy trucks have 9 speed Road Rangers and how common 9 speed rear derailleur are on bicycles, with asterisk that most are 2x9 or 3x9 so 18 and 27ish speeds respectively.

The last paragraphs of this article were, severe Punishment.

Is Boston Market still in business? The ones in Oregon closed in the 90s bankruptcy and I only see the name as frozen food items

I bet the LAPD didn’t pay out a single penny in compensation and got any lawsuits dismissed by claiming qualified immunity.

I want to believe it's the voice of reason at Tesla but I'm sure it's some wild BS instead.

I see enough RHD JDM stuff in my area that it’s doable, the bigger point is how over the odds this car is because I’m pretty sure I’ve seen German market BMWs for way less than this car, but JDM was fresh in my mind

You seem very heavily invested in this, did you lose money on vaporware cruises? Since this is not a hill I choose to get hurt on much less die on I bid you bon voyage.

It's the same concept as powder actuated nail gun. The blank cartridge drives a piston that operates the cutting jaw. Everything that goes bang is contained in a hefty steel cylinder. I suppose you could do a fuel-air powered setup like a Paslode Impulse framing nailer instead.
