Incredibly shocking.

According to the Ready Room interview, Matalas offered him the role. From other stuff I’ve read, I get the impression that Matalas kept thinking of Shaw as the Todd Stashwick character, and then probably just realized “Hey, I should just give this role to him.”

I’ve enjoyed Shaw’s character up to this episode, but this episode made me love him.  Just perfect.  More Shaw please.

“At a certain point, asshole was substituted for charm.”

Never realized how much I missed that dry Worf humor until I got it.

For all its ups and downs, I’ve enjoyed NuTrek most of the time. But for years I’ve felt aggravated that DS9 had mostly been ignored - if you’re going to make it a nostalgia-fest, dammit, give me the good shit!

I need “Beheadings are on Wednesdays” on a t-shirt.

I don’t often go full fan boy, but when I saw the first Purrgil appear I was in first SCREEEEE! mode. Really nice touch.

Comedians In Cars Getting Injured

I gave up and stopped caring after 3.

Maarva’s speech was amazing. It’s one of those speeches that you can listen to on its own and feel inspired. Fiona Shaw acted the heck out of that scene, and she was making that speech directly to a camera without any body movements beyond her head and mouth.

The score for this season deserves special recognition. Nicholas Britell did outstanding work.

When I die, please make my ashes into a brick and beat fascists with it as well.

We’re really walking a fine line here. Prince said it best when asked if he ever wanted to do a show or video cgied with other artists and nailed it back in 1998.

I wish my name was as cool as Ncuti Gatwa.

ZERO chance Indy 5 gets dumped on Disney+, this comment is complete horseshit.

fwiw ...

II didn’t really enjoy Rogue One, but have been loving Andor if it helps. Much more room to develop what Rogue was aiming at, I guess!

Watching Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) be happy—in daylight—was its own delight

Great as the ‘when are we getting the X-Men’ look is, I think my favourite bit was the “See you in the movies” “Really?!” “No.” “Fine. Whatever. Kevin”. The delivery of every line was perfection.
