d’uh. like...Business, no matter the business, it is always money first. That is why it is called business. People are in it to make money.

would still do it. Just for the hell of it. COF included, obviously.

Fiat engines were always quite reliable. Everything else was not(italian here) plus after my dad bought his first Alfa, he pledged to never buy a Fiat again because of politics. After Fiat bought Alfa, he never bought a domestic again. So I kinda grew up thinking FIAT=Agnelli=shit. And that was often the case,

did you live in italy? my dad had the 124 “sport”.. ...still a fiat though.

What y’all Americans ignore is that one of the most brilliant mind in automotive history Paolo Stanzani, was one of the main people behind the EB110.

You see my pic...I am a vespa fanboy. I own a few, owned many and I love them.

That is possibly the car I HATE the most. The Delta nameplate on your uncle’s fiat tipo. Whichever idiot Fiat executive thought to use the glorious Delta HF nameplate on that POS should die. Ok probably is already dead, but still.

it is still quite a turd, though. The 145 I mean. but not as turd as the tigra. Why no love for the Alfa 33, though??

The Fiat Coupe might look striking, but it is an absolute turd of a car. fun in a straight line, quality is shoddy, and it’s a fiat.

actually, those old alfas, especially the 4, are pretty uncomplicated to work on. Unless they have the dreaded SPICA injection which is an absolute pain in the ass. Carburetors can be a bit of a bitch, too. Otherwise they are pretty simple engines, the problem was that tat the time Alfa was state owned (I add ITALY

I mean to troll. It’s a beautiful little thing, I would just take the alfa over that.Just wanted to poke a bit of fun at the “miata is always the answer” here. don’t take it personal....plus wrenching? on that. that does not need wrenching. THIS needs wrenchig. Here is my baby. I am based.HEavily.

it is not. It works on gravel tracks and at ver cautious speeds. If you take it for what it is (a fun, goofy looking, somehow lovable beach cruiser) it’s ok. As a dirt bike it fucking suck. The frame is weak, suspension non existent and brakes are....well are not.

Most US autojournos should just stick to drive pickup trucks and SUV. Except Doug De Muro and a few others, really.

What is that ugly POs doing close to a spider??

and an engine.

They are somehow related. The Autobianchi A112 shared a lot with its much crappier stable sister, the Fiat 127. The underpinning were extremely similar, only the A112 was more premium. They both did really well in their “sport” version, the A112 especially, with the preppy 73HP 1150 engine, which was essentially a 127

Sorry no. For sure the 480 was the best looking of the 4 serie(460 and 440 were serious eyesore) but it was still a pos.and reliability was not great either. It was kinda cool for a while the wedge shape, but it was really not worth the badge Volvo.

Ah, Americans. The 480 was an absolute mess of a car. It was built in the NEtherland I believe, in the former factory of DAF (another carmaker no one really misses). With Renault engines. I believed they did not even produced 100K (not very impressive, for a car that was essentially a golf competitor).

There is a difference. Those are bikes. Danger is on a different level
