@00Bear00: The tat in the CG version uses more muted coloring that the real life version. Give it a few years to fade a little and it may look better.

I lol'd

I was being snarky. Though, I wouldn't be surprised to hear a company put that kind of BS PR spin on something like that these days.

Actually, I hope so. I want a Slim and I need more HDD space. Couple that with the HDMI and maybe it wouldn't be such a terrible thing. Tax return would take care of it...

@lyhthegreat: It will be blue ring. Studies show that the color red incites anger while blue provokes a more passive response. Thus with a BROD, your console may have failed, but you'll feel a little better about it.

@Zevverlith: Man, I hope so. I wish MS and Sony would offer digital distribution over Live and PSN on release day so I don't have to make the trip to the store.

@eXo: erm, I dunno about you but the office I work in uses e-mail. Its faster and cheaper.

They must have modeled that sniper after me because he's terrible at it.

@lando8282: looks like it. A very welcome addition indeed if it is. I understand keeping them a secret back in 1992 because it added to the hype, but at this point its kind of stupid not having them available in game.

I'd buy that for a dollar.....or $60.

curses!

Think that's bad? Try popping a PS1 FF game in and playing it in 1080p. Resampling is ugly, but I like having the option for it.

Nothing if you don't mind it. The cost of the PS2 BC was negligible and I don't see the reason, other than the one I outlined, for removing it.

@AshleyAshes: I think that was just worded poorly. GameStop has a 30 day warranty on their used consoles normally (I think). One year on a refurbished one is...unheard of. At least without paying extra anyways...

@Stefan Sinclair: Because they're releasing HD remakes of PS2 games. Why spend money on backwards compatibility when you can double dip and make people buy their old games again with a shiny new coat of paint?

So wait, you're telling me that they increased the exp rewards but still kept the ridiculous timer? I think they missed the point...
