My only grievance is that it looks like an Apple store; very white and devoid of character. Its like the designer stopped working on it about halfway through and decide he/she was bored and submitted it. This is all aesthetically speaking of course.

@Trolly: Unfortunately, for me anyways, New Vegas felt like an expansion pack for Fallout 3 more than it did a stand alone game.

@ceptri: Well when you put it all like that, yeah it is pretty impressive. A lot of people, myself included, probably don't think about most of what you mentioned because it works so well.

@ceptri: Could you elaborate on that first paragraph? Not that I'm disagreeing, I'm just curious if you're talking about the physics and such or the ability to render the environment as a whole with the amount of detail they did.

@kicking222: I played Limbo for 20 minutes before putting it down. I like the style and all but I just didn't get it I guess.

@Nightshift Nurse: But the point is they are debating about the GOTY, not best game of "category x". Personally I feel RDR should be on the list, but do you honestly feel the others on your list should be considered GOTY?

@roseofmay: But comparing BLOPS to Transformers 2 is saying its a bad game. It isn't by any stretch of the imagination. What it IS is a popular time sink. Its a shooter, a pretty one at that. The single player narrative is entertaining enough, albeit short. Passed that, BLOPS has no substance. Its a fun game to fart…
