I'm pretty sure this is a case of not making games that sell well enough, not that they make sequels. Most companies make sequels to AVOID this. They avoid making original titles because it's a risk they don't want to take. I think THQ just wasn't making games that were making boatloads of money.

Before the last update or two, Netflix had a MUCH better UI on PS3 than 360. You could watch previews of shows in the search menu, see a more detailed description for videos much more easily, better keyboard, better search engine, and more recommendation results.
