If you read the previous articles about this, you’d see that’s exactly what commentators are saying. I agree with the rest of your post though.
JonTron also celebrates diversity, I feel like everyone is reading into this too deeply and way overreacting... Not using his voice over if they already paid him seems shady but is fine in the end, but publicly, and wrongfully, calling him out is the very definition of slander and grounds for a lawsuit.
In the video, He says “I suppose you could guess the reaction if Samantha Bee said black people ruined America for voting overwhelmingly for Barack Obama, which they did both times, I’M NOT SAYING THAT’S TRUE, but the same standard applies.” Just think it’s worth noting in this dialogue that he isn’t claiming Barack…
Ignorance is treated with education and logic, not with demonizing. Demonizing it just pushes it into backrooms like Breitbart where people all agree with each others’ incorrect views. If we react just by yelling, we reinforce the other side’s views that we don’t HAVE reason to think the way we do.
What he said was during his “debate” was stupid. But some of what he says here isn’t. We ‘re quick to label people we don’t agree with. When someone says something stupid it’s a teaching a moment. Don’t just yell at me that I’m wrong, explain to me why I’m wrong. I understand logic doesn’t always work but that’s not a…
The “whatever-it-was” at the convenience store has always been a red herring.
But Scarlett johansson just hasn’t the right physique for the role.
I get it. I do. But Jesus Christ. Man loses his job over an old hat joke that has been told a million times before in a million different formats?
This world is fucking stupid now.
I recently saw Passengers, having been under the impression it was quite nasty and had an evil Chris Pratt character trolling women passengers to pick out the one he found most attractive to try and fool.
Ugh....here we go with ‘plot hole.’ Most overused term in a while used for movies. Think for like a minute, watch the movie again, and take a deep breath. There’s no plot hole, you’re just a fanboy who is probably never satisfied.
I would say that he takes them out and if they die, so be it. You don’t see anyone actually killed, but it is clear that realistically no one would survive an explosion or car wreck.
I gotta disagree for three key reasons.
Wow that’s pretty bold to label those who play sports games as casuals. Isn’t the term gamer essentially a person who plays games? Stop It with elitist attitude and trying to be better than everyone.
I wouldn’t have, and I don’t think that reusing assets in this way is that bad. When done correctly it can still appear quite different in the final game, and it allows the developers to put more effort in other aspects of the game.
You know - it’s a very small but very vocal subset of people who take offense to every major video game release for one thing or another. Being the squeekiest doesn’t make you the majority. Or maybe it’s a videogame conspiracy...woooooooooooooooow </jazz hands>
I took a month off of work for Fallout 4. After playing it everyday, then playing it nights and weekends after the month ended, I’m finally done the main quest and 75% done the side quests. I regret nothing!
Counterpoint: Stallone was excellent in Creed. He was one of strongest parts of a movie that had many strong parts.
She IS just a girl version of Link, though. I mean, possible incarnation of the hero’s bloodline? Visually similar to link, LINKle.
The whole point of the character is to have a female avatar to take the place of Link. Don’t try to paint her as more than that, since she’s not.
