If you are just talking about "cheapness" of bosses I would say the harder difficulties of Mario Kart were always a pain in the ass. The game chooses who is first, second, third, etc. then they all just rubberband to that position. You can hit someone with a shell but unless they are right next to you the game will

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

If you are looking for a sort of old-school RPG to play I bought this the other day on a whim and am enjoying myself. Its called Anachronox and was made by Ion Storm and published by Square Enix.

Not pleased.

I was listening to this exact track the moment you posted this, no joke. Its really cool that Wintory went out of his way to greet everyone on the videos as well.

As soon as I heard the return of the synth tracks I was hoping they would sneak this track back in there somewhere. Unfortunately I did not hear this or the Ilos battle track anywhere in the game.

Best news about the beta is that the Yogscast is back doing some WoW videos. Feels good man.

OK

So is this similar to the previous story about the educational program being funded through Kickstarter? I seem to remember people arguing that while it may be effective we are not sure what the long-term effects of gamification of this nature might have.

If you subscribe to the annual pass you get Diablo 3 free, but with that and the beta coming out at around the same time I imagine it would be pretty darn hard to play both.

Revolutions ended poorly as well, but you may be thinking of that War of the Worlds remake. Everyone in the theater including myself actually audibly scoffed or laughed at the ending to that.

Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang the Game. Take my money!

Hacking/Modding is already fairly common on Xbox. Even I have ran across players with infinite health and stamina.

I don't think its fair to take a piece of what makes something great and just dismiss it. Dark Souls praise also comes from its finely tuned combat and world design. It is impressive to look closely at detail sure, but in Dark Souls you can look closely at detail and then see how the world fits together.

PRAISE THE SUN! FANTASTIC NEWS! I had been hearing these rumors about the magazine for a while now, there is a good amount of evidence supporting it (in my mind).

Niceeeeee

Since I don't own a PS3 I resorted to watching playthroughs of Journey. I was blown away, and that is without being able to actually experience it.
