I have really, really fond memories of the early Mario Parties, but I have missed most of the newer titles. Why is everyone moving along the game board in the same spot now? How does that work? Is the goal to still collect stars?

I don't see any guns in there, and the characters don't have enough dirt on them.
I am not going to argue about games that did not make the list or the other usual gripes, but I am curious about something.
Its both horror and experimental. You do not have to worry about monsters popping out, and the game is certainly very moody. You could say the character's (you) journey through it is what the game is all about.
People have posted multiple times in the past that Kotaku is a blog and not news site. Has that changed? I can understand a news site remaining neutral and reporting the news as it is (which never actually happens anymore), but doesn't Kotaku take sides all the time? The issue of video games being free speech…
I think most of it was written by the mod creators, but the character quotes a great deal of stuff - including the tale of Damascus from the bible and other things.
You hit the nail on the head with your first sentence. The original game was created as an experiment in interactive storytelling. Don't be fooled by it being a source mod - this is certainly not everyone's cup of tea.
That is true, but isn't it also true that the ARG for the Portal 2 release was not until it was pretty darn close to coming out already - and then simply turned into a sale promo.
I did not expect it so soon! Hurray!
I can't say I agree. If you want Valve to have good customer relations and be open to answer questions - great - and they do that far as I know.
They have the SDK on their website and openly state: "Want to create your own elevator floors? Check out the SDK"
According to the site it is random each time.
Half Life 2 is the sand to the Garry's Mod sandbox. Tools won't help you if there is nothing to use them on.
Hmmm 25:00 in the creepy girl makes a sound before "that" happened. The sound is the same sound the stomping prison monster makes in Silent Hill 2 in the prison section.
They are from Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, and Silent Hill 4.
I wore desktop backgrounds before it was cool to wear desktop backgrounds.
