Well in the situations youre describing, the big suv IS more safe, and DOES have better visibility, and CAN hold more people. Also, some people are auto enthusiasts and believe it or not pure sports car handling isnt the only trait that makes a car fun to drive. Its very fun to drive a 6.2L yukon with true duals

By driving a small low car you are less visible to semis and drivers of suvs or trucks. And because you are allowed to drive whatever the fuck you want as long as its road legal, you are just as much at fault in their eyes for driving a small unsafe vehicle.

autonomous cars dont cause traffic though

Why get a manual trans enthusiast trim sports sedan if youre just going to get a mediocre awd system on it. For the 15 days out of the year that you are driving in snow? And yes this is clearly equivalent to getting rid of heating and air conditiong.

I live in PA, which isnt terrible but we definitely get snow. I do just fine with RWD and good tires

I really do wish there were more equivalents to the dodge lineup for v8 sedans. A coyote sedan would be awesome and somehow I think they could market it better than GM did the SS. Ford performance has been doing quite well lately with the Focus ST and RS, gt350(r), and even just the mustang GT

45k for a 300c is NOT a good deal. People are picking up SSes for $40k flat. WAY more car for your money and I wouldnt even consider a 300 new against anything comparable. Charger R/T for 30K? Thats defintely a solid deal. That undercuts the SS enough for it to be very attractive but its a whole different ballgame in

xdrive is awful

Just wait. Volvos new design language is GORGEOUS, the new s60 is the right size to be shockingly beautiful. If they get it right (use the v90 front, keep the steady sharp angled beltline, clean up the back) it will be by far the best looking in its class. And in its class, the base model germans look like shit

So you mean about 15% more capability and 15% worse driving dynamics (and 30% worse looks maybe more unless you hate proper proportions) which is a perfectly reasonable tradeoff. The only thing 300% more capable than a wagon is a flatbed truck

ew

youre wrong. Nobody would buy a base E class over the highest trim C. Completely different driving experience and the base E is a dog. Base S over a loaded E? Maybe but they dont overlap

Either this:

reliability will be the same? dude...

So youre telling the owner that his cost of ownership is high?

PHEV phully electric vehicle

I love the 4 wheel sealed motor idea. Would be able to go ANYWHERE, and would open up possibilities like torque vectoring, so it might even handle decent. COG very low with batteries in the floor and motors mounted low. Wow, thats exactly what this guy should do.

problem is if a stripped out version exists, rich people will never want the expensive version. Thats why we dont have stripped out g wagens anymore, it would detract from the status of the body style.

I know, I think its a very well proportioned design, just has some weird details that need to go. Clean it up a little and it would be one of the best 4 doors ever made. As good as the new panamera, maybe sliiightly better

I know, digitizer costs $20
