I don’t get the cynical reaction to Democrats’ call for people to vote. It’s not a one time thing, you can’t just show up every 4 years. You got to vote every year, for every level of government: local, state, and federal. The Trump years should’ve taught us how fragile democracy is.

While I’m not going to disparage the ability to reach a variety of food and entertainment options without having to drive, I can’t say that ‘go grocery shopping every day’ is a selling point.

If the appliance users had other options, infrastructure would have to change to give them those options, which means infrastructure would be less suited to cars. I would love to have the current infrastructure with less drivers, but i know thats impossible. Things would have to become less convenient for cars to make…
