Old Top Gear (the sensible boring series, with Chris Goffey) looked at exactly how and why the French stumbled upon yellow headlights in the first place, and what prompted them to change to white like the rest of the world.

Man, this is about the first time I’ve heard someone else say they like Life Savers. I thought I was the only one. They haven’t had an advertising campaign from what I’ve seen in 20 years.
Bolivia and Botswana for me. OLIVER!
Here’s the product planning meeting:
As a concept, I adore the looks. It is like 70s and 80s sci-fi made real. I still can’t believe I’m looking at a thing that moves under its own power made of real materials.
Ohm my goodness, that was a cheesy one.
Yes, they should. I won’t buy one, but that’s not the point of the car. It would get the Nissan brand on my shopping list more than it ever did.
I finally saw a Supra in Austin! It was also in that red color, which I think looks lovely.
Hey, I agree it’s probably going to be AWD. But seriously lighten up Francis - the article doesn’t confirm anything either way on this point, so it’s a matter of conjecture, and what’s with the unhinged mini-rant?
I’ve seen a Cullinan parked in Austin before. I won’t defend it too much, but I think it’s got some of the old generation square-sided Range Rover visual appeal- just not quite as tasteful or well-executed.
I’d go slightly further and say the DBX actually does look rather good, full stop.
it’s pretty bang on....
I couldn’t disagree more- this is a case where history rhymes.
I hoped that they would do the unveil today in Grabber Blue. Looks pretty stunning considering the class of car it’s in.
“Do you need to blow off steam or get advice/perspective?” really prompts people to take stock of their own emotional state, with the wonderful side effect that they will then gripe less and if they go off mission, the conversation is over.
This car is a clean and beautiful grand tourer. The first Ferrari I’ve seen that I’ve truly lusted after in years!
I’ve only cancelled one time- because the driver called me and told me to do it since he claimed that he had picked it up “by mistake”.
We also bought our 2019 Escape in August and the incentives + haggle-ability on those were even higher in absolute terms. We paid 19.5k for a $28k SE with all the tech options. I thought I was low-balling them but they eventually took it after hand-wringing.
not the fastest thing in the world but it feels on par with the Android phone I had around the time MFT was released.
Hey, that sounds pretty good.
