“Additional tasks that may be assigned” is not an obligation for longer hours (paid or not) nor work outside of standard business hours. My general response when assigned a new task is “Ok, great. Since my time is 100% committed, what of my current work would you like me to stop doing so I can take on this?”

“scromiting” sounds like the kinda thing church groups use to scare people off pot.

Not saying I totally disagree with this, but it might be worth tempering it ten percent by letting your kids have some insight into what you are actually like while you’re still alive.

And sometimes people cheat because they’re miserable in their relationships and the person they’re with is an asshole but they’re not quite miserable enough to leave unless something horrible happens, or they meet someone who reminds them what is possible in a relationship.

OK, so, let me get this straight. Kimbro doesn’t really care that much about whether people have access to abortion. But he believes that Republicans risk being punished in elections over all the draconian state laws banning abortion, so for now he is going to promote something that he believes will wake Republicans

what will happen when you elect them, and they sneak in bail reform and decriminalize non-violent crimes

A woman may have posted it here on Lifehacker, but if you actually read the article, it comes from a man, Dr. Greg Matos writing in Psychology Today.

LOL

Mac & Cheese ice cream is trolling for marketing, but according to this site’s review, it’s actually good. So you never know when a marketing troll actually results in a good product.

I hope whoever thought this was a good idea gets better soon. Thoughts and prayers.

Actually, there are a lot of out of towners doing this, from red states perhaps?

Just install toll booths then...

A few decades ago, people were illegally climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge for the views.

Over a half mile, fairly straight, no cross-traffic - you think anyone is actually going to do 35mph there? Any competent traffic engineer would know that without putting in something to enforce speed control (like speed humps) there is no way that traffic will follow that speed limit.

Who approved the design? They should be fired. Unseparated traffic, unprotected bike lanes and the ability to climb the supports are all things that maybe should have been caught pretty early on.

No Bro, my car is parked out in back.  OH NO. Its gone!  It think it must have been stolen...

Hahaha dude I tried googling “big metal cylinders coming out of the pavement” and even google couldn’t help how stupid I was. Thank you so much. Here’s your star

To stop the war in Ukraine, just drop a bunch of Floridians into the warzone. Both armies will GTFO in no time.

btw big metal cylinders that come out of the pavement” are called traffic bollards

That’s a troubled bridge over water.
