Depends. Things like waiving the $25 baggage fee are big deals. That’s like spending $500 and getting 5% back. While it wasn’t cash back, the waiver is huge. 30k miles = around $600 in flights. So by putting $1k on that card (which we easily do with our monthly bills), we netted back $625 a piece.
