I’m so sorry your husband has to go through life in pain, that’s rough. I’m in disability claims myself, and I really feel for anyone with chronic pain.

Current research is on the fence about whether long-term opiod use really helps pain at all. It’s sad how much we prescribe them for pain that should/could be managed in other ways.
