This type of game is as good as its playlist. Last I checked, the playlist sucked. I bet you that all those European Kotaku users are laughing on their A's with things like No Doubt being played in a DJ game. One only has to look at club billboards and DJ top lists to notice that the game will fail harder than

Toyota making stylish, cool cars for a girl to ride? LOL. But yeah, if I wanted to get girls or go from point A to B, I'm pretty sure I could do that with PS3 or 360. #granturismo5

Having played the originals upscaled to 1080p (60 GB PS3) I feel underwhelmed by the trailer. As a GOW fan I will still get the collection, but the trailer just confirmed my suspicion: without hi-res textures you cannot have a hi-def game. Still a must own for those who haven't played the originals or never owned a

Things like this make me wonder what Nintendo could do with the technology & power of PS3 and 360. #oldnews

Yeah, I never dug the Sarah Paulin look and that won't change whether she is fully clothed or not. At least there's no gigantic mammary to make her worse than she already is.

@WhiteMage: I would have given you a deeper answer, but since you felt like throwing Ico in there I would just get along with the people that tell you the game is not for you.

@BobTable4Four: I won't buy any Activision game in the near future. I hate FPS, MMOs, peripheral based games, and just about anything else that Activision does. If there is a rare great game ever coming from them (I don't care about COD BTW) I'll buy it second hand so that they'll never see my $ on their bank.

I wonder if "accessories" could more or less be sub-categorized into "Wii Motion Plus", "Rock Band Instruments", "Guitar Hero Instruments", "Wii Fit + Balance Board", "Wii Play + Wiimote", and "Mario Kart + Whiil).

The sooner Activision goes down, the more hope there is for humanity.

The problem is that I don't see Natal or SUMC (Sony Unnamed Motion Control) be less than $150 each. That would bring the PS3 price to $450 and Xbox 360 price to $350-$450 compared to Wii's $199 (you know it's happening). I don't see casuals to embrace the HD consoles' motion controls at those prices.

@TearsandScreams: @Effin'Eh: My point was that once you know how to make the most of your game, including playing it on its best settings/configuration, you can't easily go back to play it the way you did before. Sure, you get used to it, but I don't buy that to a gamer, the screen quality and resolution don't

Looks a little rough around the edges, but here's hoping the gameplay will more than make up for graphical inconsistencies. Here I thought after Spirit Tracks I would be done with DS... [face_shame_on_me]

This game seems to be the best R&C game yet, but I'd rather Insomniac put this franchise aside until PS4. A good game is still a good game, but 9 entries in 8 years makes this the platform/3rd person shooter equivalent of yearly sports and racing titles.

Makes sense and just confirms what I always thought of Nintendo: they want to really make a killing this generation (and they are)! Now if they could only release the black console + controllers in US...

First 4 Figures makes some of the best videogaming related statues, but they are awfully overpriced. I would settle for a 4 times cheaper plastic version.

The last 2 paragraphs of this article are full of win. McWhertor, you did it again. :)))

I think the key here is to make things optional and not forced, especially when it comes to interface.

@mcderek3000: LMFAO. This comment cracked me up for some reason. Seems to me like someone at KP is not sharing their toys with the other kids in the room.

Nice to see MS drop their quality requirement. I guess they want a piece of the Wii shovelware market pie.
