I'm predicting that the follow up to DSi will have cell phone functionality or some other crap no one asked about.

If one removed all Wii and DS entries from that chart, it would have looked a lot better. I am tired of seeing Dr Kawashima's Brain Training or Wii_anything on charts.

I also expect MS to announce a new CheckAvatarOut chan...blad...uh, window on the next update to the NXE.

That's good and all, but I already have the original disc & packaging in excellent condition. A Wiimake would give me a reason to replay it...It was too good to be true anyway.

The world would also be no poorer if people like Heini Schmitt did not sit in power posts.

@MiltonZep: What he said. WiiFit is not selling to the "gamer" audience and it certainly isn't selling as a "game", but rather as an exercise tool. I know at least one person who's buying Wii just for WiiFit based on word of mouth. Yes, you guessed it. Middle aged female.

Meanwhile killing and torturing human beings in the game is A-Ok. Seriously, how long before human-animal marriages will be legal? I wish I could beat every single person who cares about animal rights and cruelty more than human rights and cruelty.

I expect DSiWare and WiiMotion+ news. Maybe something else that nobody expects or asked for (such as Wii Camera) etc. Whatever it is, you can bet that it will focus on expanding the market beyond traditional gaming, pissing off their loyal fans in the process.

Wow, those numbers are incredibly low.

@xxXX_Insanities_Birth_XXxx: Since most of preorders were online, something that NPD doesn't track, I would say it's a fair assessment that Killzone 2 has sold a lot more than what is shown in the NPD numbers. Of course, you can make a similar argument for the other games on that list as well.

Yeah, I guess they have to convince investors that those millions paid to Rockstar for this DLC were worthwhile. Color me unconvinced. Also Killzone 2 sales account for 2 days @ $60, while L&D sales account for 14 days @ $20. Fair comparison I say.

Whoever thinks that LP2 won't come out on PS3 is kidding themselves and paying for Microsoft checks to Capcom.

@TRT-X: Yes, that too. And Fox Reality Channel where available.

Must every single game that comes out have multiplayer? Really, Bioshock does.not.need.it. The only multiplayer mode that would make sense in this game would be co-op (one player is a big daddy, the other one is a little sister).

I actually agree with him here. But I would answer: "We will have a $100 (25% off) price cut as soon as all these developers start charging $45 (25% off) for their games."

I'd rather get a Guinness Record for the best rail-shooter game on Wii, but anything that generates publicity, good or bad, is apparently good to them.

And to think that the only time I was banned on Kotaku was because I was insisting that Ninja Gaiden II will see a PS3 release as well...

@PearceShea: Why does it matter to you if the elevators are a cover up for loading screens or not? You don't seem to care much for the experience of staying on the elevator, but you are questioning developer design decisions? I would personally take elevators over "now loading" screens anytime.

I think this bundle is a step in the right direction. A price drop won't help them more than what a second 360 price drop would help MS. What I am saying is that who's to say MS won't drop the price by $100 in response to Sony's price drops? That's a losing battle for both companies and it doesn't make much business
