I will say that Sony pulled this off when I see PSN become an iTunes equivalent of all Sony Entertainment divisions (games, movies, music).

Here's a start on what PS1 games to bring out: Greatest Hits titles. That includes RE1-3, FFVII-IX, MGS1, SH1, and many more.
This is looking good. And I was worried I saw the last of PSP with LocoRoco 2 and Patapon 2. Here's a summary of games that are still expected on PSP:
Only played the demo, but it was enough to convince me to buy the game at some point in time.
Here's hoping SH1 and RE2 make it to both PSN and PSP. I would also like to see the 2 Parasyte Eve games make it on PSP before The 3rd Birthday comes out.

I will be all over it, if true. I only hope they have more varied environments and a better story than COO.
Liked how PSP wasn't mentioned as a competitor, what with it being the #1 console in Japan for the majority of 2008 and all...
Servicing the original Xbox doesn't make a lot of sense from a business perspective. This would have been totally cool with me if Stranger's Wrath was made compatible with X360 or added to the Xbox originals. Do it MS! It's the only old Xbox game that matters and still isn't on the BC list.
What will Mortal Kombat be without its developers? I hope whoever buys the franchise gets the key MK developers with it as well.
Silent Hill Origins was a very good Silent Hill game, especially for being a handheld game. The only problem I had with the game was that story wasn't as strong as other games in the series. If SHO team would be in charge of SH:H, SH:H would have probably been a much better game than what it turned out to be.
@dunbain: Last I checked this was a videogame and not a news documentary about Africa.
Here's hoping the last 2 quarters of game releases this year are highlighted at the E3. I am 95% sure GOWIII won't come this year and 99% sure MAG won't release this calendar year either. Other than the multiplatform releases or sequels, I don't see any exclusive in the horizon to call this "the year of PlayStation,…
I didn't see the keywords "exclusive game" in their announcement. Just "exclusive announcement". M$, you sly devil!
I paid close to $800 for a 60 GB PS3 back in December 2006 including tax and an extended warranty, and I don't think I've regretted it. The X360 however...taught me to never buy a MS console until 2 years in (still have a perfectly working 2006 console with no issues, but MS hardware upgrades like the HDMI connection…
I don't see either God of War III or MAG shipping this year, especially not MAG. But here's Sony's hype machine at work. Will believe it when I see it.
LOL @ SixDemonBag and Frologic. Don't know how I missed them.
Well that's a lot better than US politicians trying to pass laws for banning game sales to minors. It's called parenting, a foreign term to Americans, I know.
@Orionsaint: Same can be said for Gears of War being on PS3, or Super Mario Brothers on PSP. It's good to daydream.
@bableebooblah: Direct sequel no. That would take away from the first game's story. A spiritual successor? Hells yeahs.
