I am trying to not get overly excited for this game for fear of disappointment. But yeah, so far this looks amazing.

Given that this is probably the only game that has been making Sega money recently, this is a no-brainier. More crap for the ignorant consumer. I say go for it Sega. Make them eat the fruits of their ignorance.
Since I haven't played the original yet (couldn't get past the mouse + keyboard controls) I am all for it. Didn't care much about the rest of the orange box so a standalone release would make sense to me. Let's hope the game isn't scaled down or overpriced because of this.
Getting the controls right is the number 1 objective that all developers should have. It's the element that sorts a good game from a bad one. This game seems to be the later (didn't have high hopes for it anyway).
This weekend I am playing "sun rays catch up". Yep, I am going out to the beach and enjoy the summer while I can. But if I find a minute to play, I need to catch up with Metal Gear Solid 4. Good times.
@Hendrixx: Cool. Believe it or not the trailer music was 50% of the experience for me. So new age'y.
I give this look a meh/10.
Assuming this maintains its $10 price, it's a first day buy for me.
What I am gathering from Kotaku commenters is that a Virtual Joe Mortal Kombat is more appealing than a Gears of War Mortal Kombat. Good to know.
I'll pick this up when it's $30 or less. I am sure I will be plenty disappointed though.
Uh-uh. Super Smash Bros Brawl is not a fighting game either, just a 3D action-adventure title that focuses on 22+ years of Nintendo's legacy.
Cratos face model was highly detailed, but the rest of it was very brown. Yeah, same color as poop. If previous GOW games graphics had all colors of the rainbow, this one is so close to being chromatic that it isn't even funny. Let's hope Sony doesn't screw this up or they will get hell from at least one Kotaku…
I checked the post, and sure enough, Luke was the one who did. Not surprising since he has hated the PS3 long before it was even announced. Just because the new 80GB + DS3 is replacing the current 40GB - DS3 doesn't mean there won't be a new 120 GB model bundle for $500 to replace current MGS4 bundle. I predict it…
What's their sudden obsession with game-movies and Lost Planet in particular? They have so many more franchises that they need to focus on, instead I read Lost Planet this, Lost Planet that. How about some Resident Evil 2 Wii remake, Devil May Cry 5 with no new sons of Sparda, Dead Rising 2, and some new DS Zelda…
I think this is the first year in a long-long time that I've been interested in some EA titles, so recently they must be doing something right. Dead Space and Mirror's Edge look promising. If they deliver on their promise, than yes, I will say that EA is starting to learn from their past mistakes. Also don't forget…
I am all for perfecting the controls if they must. But I can certainly say that IMO, RE4 controls were better than Gears of Wars controls.
I am Legend: Day of Crisis confirmed?
The few new screens are looking good. I wasn't feeling the open environments on a Prince of Persia game.
I am glad now there is a poor man's version of a great X360 game. I am not surprised at the slightest that games that people would actually play, like Dead Rising, Fatal Frame 4, Captain Gaynbow, Mad World, and Disaster: Day of Crisis didn't show up anywhere on Nintendo's conference.
Appearantly, the motionplus sensor works pretty well, but unless the next Wii Zelda, Mario, or Metroid HAVE TO use it, I am not sold.
