Personally I think the whole series needs a break. We need Kojima gto ive us new masterpieces and not get eaten by a single franchise. Sony will be profitable again when PS3 pricing goes head to head with Xbox 360 and when their TVs go head to head with the next competitors such as Samsung. Given that Sony still buys the panels from Samsung, this ain't gonna happen.

Microsoft may have the most exclusives but it will never ever have God of War III. Now based on the previous GOW games, this alone justifies a $400+ PS3 to me.

I am actually more excited about VS XIII (due to its real time action combat rather than menu driven turn based battles) then FFXIII. RPGs are a drag by design, so anything that can speed them up its OK in my book.

With in-game XMB and Trophies coming out in 2.40, I can finally write off Home. About time too.

Sony really needs to have some surprise announcement on E3 otherwise its next holiday season will look grim. A FPS, a racer, and a platformer won't be enough to carry it over Gears 2 and Fable 2.
