when you have a spot that big, you dont really need to parallel park, but it should be mandatory to pass a parallel parking test when you get your license. having said that im glad that a lot of people dont know how to do it because it means more parking for me

i respectfully disagree. this program is overpriced, you have to pay extra for state taxes and you have to pay 2 separate e file fees and 2 processing fees for your refund. their marketing tactics are pure spam, i get constant emails from them asking me to use their program again. if you go on your states department

bamboo (real bamboo) is probably the best plant for the office. the tropical varieties are best for indoors. you only need to water it once a week, it grows really nicely and it cleans the air and produces more oxygen than any other indoor plant. this is not to be confused with lucky bamboo which is actually a

two words: simple and elegant. thumbs waaaaay up for this one(no pun intended).

buy a motorcycle, traffic jams will become a non issue and your ride will actually be fun. the same route that takes me almost an hour in a car takes about 20-25 minutes on a bike. also parking is much cheaper and easier, pop it up on the curb and you're done. not to mention insurance, gas and repair costs. you can

@pmtorrone: guy, you just looove to ramble on don't ya? I'm actually very happy with my boyfriend of 5 years, so I'm not jealous of the hippies or their fabulous bookshelf treadmill and their self cut hair. I won't be sending you any pictures of my self, and requests like that should get you banned. There are other

@tselby: no, it just that as a gay man my standards are little higher than that of an average hippie douche. those haircuts are just esthetically hideous. that is a fact. i personally dont care if you use a flowbee and a bowl as your method of cutting hair. but are you really going to argue that either one them has

its ironic that while they managed to post instructables on everything from taxidermy to 3 armed baby clothes, they themselves have neglected to take a second and look for one on how to get a decent haircut.

@nolabar10der: i do have a hynes manual but some of the pictures are pretty bad, esp on complicated jobs. i was gonna try and ajust timing on my own, but when i read something to the effect of "turn the engine counter clockwise 1/4 inch, but be careful turning it any more will result damage to the camshaft" or

ive been looking for weekend motorcycle repair courses or workshops literally FOREVER, they simply dont exist. i mean i figured out some stuff from the shop manual, but with some stuff like valve ajustments and timing, you kinda want someone helping you out the first time you do it

my sister pretty much breaks a laptop a year. this time the unfortunate victim was an acer aspire 3680, she wanted to salvage the hard drive and said i can have the laptop if i can do that for her. so i got her broken laptop which at that point had an 80gig hard drive and was crawling on a celeron m with 512mb of ram

@GreasyPig: you can borrow or rent a pick up, same with tools, and plywood is cheap so you can f up lotsa times while you are learning and still spend way less money. the real problem, for me anyway is space. for anyone that leaves in an apartment and doesnt have a basement this is unfeasible.

this diy magsafe tutorial is better than the last one, im almost tempted to do it. but the part on the laptop still sticks out, it needs to be flush or slightly recessed to really look good. definitely a heading in the right direction tho.

if you are using a laptop during your workout you are not working out hard enough. just throw in the towel and mount an extra large cup holder for that 7/11 big gulp and just turn the treadmill into an automated twinkie (or possibly pizza) feeder.

@yardameus: im new to jailbreaking, so while it seems like a good idea because you get so much more usability of your ipod, my concern is security because I have my gmail, paypal, ebay, etc on there. are there extra steps that I'd need to take with a jailbroken ipod to make sure none of the passwords or account

does anyone know how to do the following on the ipod touch:

out of the 250,000 or so diy laptop stand posts i have seen, maybe 3 actually looked nice and were cleverly executed. This isn't one of them. I like the tv armoire idea, but it takes up too much space and probably wont fit into most kitchens without requiring that you remove something else in order to accomodate it.
