I’m always down for a Lovecraft adaptation. Also any Cage movie. Alpacas? I’m more interested now. Random Chong tossed into the mix and we’re talking cinematic classic. But then you say “truly upsetting puppetry” and I think this might possibly be the best film ever made.

Um, it’s “he does well at rockets”, Mr. President.

Hey now – slow your roll there, pardner. Che called him a dogSUCKer, not a a dogFUCKer.

Thank you, came here to say this. Lindelof doesn’t seem to think it’s ambiguous either.

“Good luck finding a deejay who can move and shake LIKE THIIIISSSSSS!”

The Blurred Lines suit has really opened the floodgates. I still think though that the decision there was wrong. If you could claim ownership of a feel or sound of a song, Motown could clean up. As the article states, there are only so many ways to put notes together and real charges of copying may not get the

Somewhat apropos, the line/delivery from this movie that keeps coming back for me...

“...He’s losing his mind...and I’m reaping the benefits!

“You thought I was asleep, didn’t you? ACTING!”

So true. And a Francine-Roger episode pairing is when this show thrives. The wig-scheme, “Francine I haven’t been entirely honest with you” episode is amazing.

“You think I wouldn’t like to spark up a doober every now and again? Just take a nice, slow, extra-careful drive...”

Francine Smith is one of the best sitcom characters ever put to screen, and I’ll fight anyone who disagrees like Francine used to when she was in that underground fighting ring, gloating over dead Becky.

Cue a bunch of people insisting that, even though rock n roll was invented by American blacks in the ‘50s, music made by American blacks doesn’t qualify, unless it sounds like it was made by white Brits in the ‘60s and ‘70s.

My favorite deep reference might be Steve & Co. humping the ottoman. They did that just before you routinely saw viral videos get referenced outside of the Internet, and given the content it was a big “Are they really referencing THAT on network television?” kinda moment.

There was an episode last season where Steve and his friends were celebrating their “friendiversary”and sung a song to the tune of Anniversary by Toni Tone Tony and they were dressed exactly like that band in the video and it made me laugh so hard because that is such a deep reference that I was hoping people remember

It’s impossible to know what was said at the meeting, which was a private one; both clearly believe their version of events.

:: something happens involving gay panic and absolutely no black people ::

Could this BE any more sarcastic?

Man, I hope this happens. Mediocre white people could really use a victory.

Oh, why can’t the English teach their children how to speak?

Have they considered writing the Friends into the upcoming Avatar sequels? That way, many of the things that no one really wants could all be wrangled into one tedious event.
