If you’re speaking to me, I don’t and never have. As any child grows older, naturally they’re in the process of finding who they are as a human, in the process of becoming an adult, etc., and as such, they want to be shown respect.

My point is that respect begets respect. My dad taught me that if I want to be shown

Sometimes there’s a literal need for a cell phone; but not always, and bluntly put, I’m not going to buy my son a cell phone just so I can communicate with him.

For the rest of the time that he’s not on a cell phone (which is 99% of the time), I simply treat him with respect (although I demand the same as his parent),

Huge fan of all things SE and FF...and anymore, I don’t even bother to get excited. I just wait until something is ACTUALLY debuted, like as in actual physical form.

Imagine that, a celebrity a$$hole.

You’re...welcome? (Sorry, I never know how to respond, but thanks for the appreciation anyways.) Any balance I carry on there is usually < a month, so it doesn’t matter...but the only reason I know is because my dad ‘bet’ me a steak dinner he had a lower credit rating than mine.

Man, that steak was good. *rubs belly*

I think I’m good to go, as my issuer (USAA) has supposedly had a variable rate (“prime” plus 2%) since 2003, and it’s never changed. All I know is that I’m thankful. (Though I rarely use it.)

Depends. I’m 42, a veteran, and have had my credit card for about 20 years. My rate - the entire time - has been 6%.

Were there any Vengagirls?

All this food talk is making me hungry. Stopit! LOL

Seriously though....in my case, my wife does most of the cooking simply because she works at home (certified diabetic educator/health coach for a healthcare corporation) and works 20 feet from the kitchen. We do the same thing - plan out meals, make them ‘tasty but

Thank you sir (or ma’am) - just sharing my thoughts. :)

So, being a veteran and a conservative - but also being the kind of guy who hates being labeled simply because of those things - I attempted to read this as objectively as possible. I got about halfway before I had so many thoughts and comments.

1. Wife and I have been married 16 years, and yeah, we have no intention

As informed as this article is....I just mosey over to my neighbor’s house and grab a few dozen from him, so this entire article is n/a for me. :P

Agreed.

I’m pretty dang conservative, and even I was with you up until the “idiot Democraps argh shaking fists Trump argh ARGH” part. Name calling will pretty much IMMEDIATELY guarantee the focus of your discussion will ignore you.

I would buy this in a heartbeat and do the following:

1. Drop a Vette engine in it (or more likely, pay someone to do it).
2. Also install a fantastic sound system.
3. Drive it to work in something equally nonsensical as the car, such as a clown suit or lederhosen.

I’m just happy that (for once) it wasn’t a Mustang.

I have to be honest and say that simply picking a good/reputable jewelry store took care of 90% of this for me when I got married. I tried buying one from Helzbergs, but they had to custom-make one, as my wife’s ring size is 3.75. (Yes, you read that right...she was born premature and has very small hands.) The idiots

The same way Hillary Clinton (or Bill Clinton, or GWB, etc., and so on) could be mistaken for the voice of the working class or women or what have you. No politician ‘fights for the common man’ or ‘represents them.’ It’s simply a schtick they use to get into office. What’s amazing is that people buy it (on both sides).

I would have started singing every robot song I know, just for giggles.
