...and THIS would be why I live in the middle of nowhere in Missouri. Granted, what I make isn’t on parity with what is made in NYC, but neither is what I PAY.

I did want to offer one comment, for what it’s worth.

In your article you mention (correctly) that “In Church teaching, any sex outside of marriage is sinful. That that also includes straight people who are living together before marriage, which no one seems to bat an eye at.”

I would amend that just a bit. I would

Back in about 1998 or so, when I was stationed on the USS Enterprise, our div-o (division officer) was taking her turn at the bridge while performing OOD (officer of the deck) qualifications during one of our shakedown cruises. One of the tasks was to execute a 3 degree turn; we were doing about 20 OR 25 knots or so

He wasn’t talking about lit tits. He was simply extolling the virtues of Pennsylvania’s ‘coolest small town.’

Heh. My issue was DEFINITELY not that I found ‘hot women’ boring. The issue was that they found ME boring - I liked computers, was respectful, kind, etc., and that was ‘boring.’

Thankfully, my then-girlfriend came along, and disagreed with them. We will have been married for 15 years this coming July. :)

TwitchTube?
YouTch?

I actually DO know women who have essentially said just that. I know, unfortunately, because I’m one of those who tried to convince a friend to let my wife and I adopt the baby rather than have her abort.

She said “No thanks, I’d rather not carry it to term.” We later asked her why she didn’t use protection. “I dunno,

Meh. Been married for 14 years, and I’ve got the same policy in general. Yes, I’m a Christian, but no it’s not simply because “God told me to.” It’s because I love my wife and want to continually earn her trust.

Yes, I’ve occasionally eaten a meal with a girl (pretty much always work-related, e.g. am in between IT work

An artisanal, Link-curated fixie airship. I bet he listened to Neutral Milk Hotel and slammed a few PBRs while building it.

I can’t speak for the Xbox One, but on PS4 it’s been stable as hell (aside from the occasional frame-rate issues when there’s a TON of action on screen, which is the case with any console).

This. There’s a TON of information that’s not covered here, such as the many systems that serve to counter sub/aircraft attacks and the like.

I can go along with the fact that the mission has changed; but that doesn’t mean they serve no purpose, considering their role is to project power. At worst, it simply means that

This. As a current 2013 F150 owner (and having had NO issues whatsoever), I’m surrounded by Chevy/GMC owners who laugh and tell me their trucks are MUCH more reliable than mine is....with missing tailgate handles. *confused* I get that the rest of the vehicle can be reliable when the plastic is crap, but in general,

Why, no. No, I haven’t ever wondered that.

LOL. This is purely a Trump hit piece. I’m no big fan of his, but I work with thousands of Soldiers/Sailors/Marines/Airmen every day, and suffice to say the VAST majority, shall we say, don’t agree with this article.

Pretty much this. I work on a military post, in the middle of nowhere, so we see a ton of service members, construction workers, farmers, etc.

The *ONLY* people I see driving these specific types of trucks are brand spankin’ new service members (~4 years in the military or less) or bros with, as WcC3 put it, a dick to

For me it was easy, living where I do (middle of the Ozarks). I called the neighbor to complain about the dog, even through the dog tearing up our personal property.

The day it attacked one of my dogs, I waited until the neighbor came looking for the dog. I simply told him to ensure it didn’t happen again; and as he

I liked my Dodge Ram.

Just so long as I don’t, say, shoot some guy in Uncharted 4 and then have some Moms Demand Action superboss appear out of nowhere and end the game.

This isn’t an argument against having kids so much as it’s an argument, as someone else pointed out, for proper electronic controls. I’ve got an 8 year old son, and have had electronics all around him since he was born. NEVER had any issues.

Mine *IS* used for storage.

Nyeah.
