I have the opposite problem to the extreme. I have no problem meeting and connecting with strong, interesting, fun women and have a happy abundance of women friends in my life. Finding a man I want to sleep with, on the other hand, feels like mission impossible.

I’ve had this same trope lobbed at me as well. I’m trying to embrace it as “oh, you mean I am a female with a personality who refuses to wait to speak until spoken to” but dammit, it's hard. I mean, who doesn't want to be likable? I just hate that as women it seems we must be meek to succeed.

I love her look! This whole story is so inspirational and educational to me. For so long I was confused by transgender people and their motivation to change. I just didn’t get it. But since his coming out I’ve been reading more and just absorbing the knowledge and issues transgender people face. In a way her story

A girl I went to high school with got married last year on the Saturday of the LSU-Alabama game-the reason I know this is because it apparently was so shocking that the local news actually interviewed her about it! I mean I like football too but cmon people, getting a venue is hard!

My best friend had to deal with the LSU schedule while planning her wedding and things ended up being up in the air because of the Bowl schedule. It was terrifying, and we found ourselves praying non-stop through all of their games for very specific results so that they wouldn’t have their wedding during whatever Bowl

Yes! We can title it Kangadudes.

How many Hemsworth brothers are there, anyway?

Ah, yes...and the Bro-ala

Cousin of the swole-aby.

Yours is the first comment I’ve read that smacks of my reality - not an office rock star. I started working as a child (as a “domestic” cleaning houses with my mom) earned a few advanced degrees and worked the whole time. In those 20+ years there was never a minute that I wouldn’t have walked out if I won the lotto.

I know I’m not supposed to be “snarking” on other women/moms, and I’m supposed to support everyone’s choices without contributing to the “mommy wars”. But I live around people who are a little like this, and I’m sorry but it’s getting old. No actual wife bonuses. But a whole lot of women whose lives revolve around

And a lack of higher education shouldn’t be, either. We really need a change in the economy overall.

Her “difficult behavior” = being a woman with opinions

Karyn, you are a professional writer.

I know others have pointed this out, but please tell me “wrecking” is on purpose here. Y’all. Wreaking not wrecking. Cripes. YOU HAVE GOT TO HIRE A COPY EDITOR OVER THERE.

They’re a fucking non-profit. Non-profits have high turnover because they tend to be high-stress environments with not a ton of pay.

Insightful and not at all reactionary and illogical point.

Oh, look: another story about an intelligent, educated female leader that reduces her to a bitchy stereotype.

I’m going to be that guy...It’s wreaking, not wrecking.

OMG PEOPLE GOT NEW JOBS IN THE PAST 4 YEARS! ESCANDALO!
