They sort of do. Most councils have ways you can be involved as an adult that is not being a leader. If you're interested, check it out!!

AH YES GIRL SCOUTS!!!! I was a Girl Scout growing up, and am now a Daisy leader. I am going with my mom, best friend, her mom, and other friends (and their moms!) to the national sing along. I CAN'T WAIT. Girl Scouting RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"We cannot risk losing this hard-won network of life-changing and life-saving services. We cannot stand by and watch as short-sighted budget decisions chip away at these services, cut by painful cut."

Ummm why is that weird!??!?!? Yeah, just asking ....

"I respect and am grateful for my temple. But my temple is mine and, since I am there until I die, I will decorate it in a way that makes me happy and feel at home."

Good point!!

It's called a blow "job" and not a blow "party" for a reason. It's hard work and it sucks!

Agreed!

I think a study of parallels between how students are viewed under NCLB and how women are asked to fit into certain sexual standards is in order. Is one caused by the other, or are they both caused by a certain kind of performance-based acculturation?

Hee haw hee haw!!!!

I only like that song because I get to sing at the beginning of football season.

YES ME TOO. Also the guy in the back of the shower scene (hubba hubba) and the guy leading the helicopter guys at the end, who looks like a super fun cutie times guy and also ... a lot of them :).

Nope, Jerry's still the biggest threat. GO NINERS.

That's interesting — it's been 10 years since I was in that class. Thanks!!

My apologies — I of course meant the comment in the spirit of what @Who, her? said, and am glad she laid out the clarification that is definitely true.

Yes — thank you for that clarification.

Also that was a great song.

I also saw it last night!!!!!! It was so fun and awesome!!!!

Wow, what an all-around sad story. A professor of sociology I had in college, when talking about child molestation cases, said that statistics showed that something like 70% or 80% of people who abused kids had been abused themselves, but she speculated that the number was probably much closer to 100%.

Haha! Me too! I was like, really? We should try that again. How about now?
